The Professional Women’s Network is hosting its Annual “Open House.”  Meet the women of the network, enjoy refreshments, and hear guest speaker, Liz Summers, share:

“5 Keys to Living Your Best Life”

Speaker Background:  Liz P. Summers is president and owner of Advancing Leadership Consulting, a firm dedicated to strengthening communication and leadership skills for individuals, teams and organizations. With a BA in Communications from Wake Forest University and over twenty years of sales, communication and marketing/public relations experience with both for profit and nonprofit organizations, Liz offers a unique perspective to a wide variety of organizations.

As a trained facilitator and speaker, Liz works with individuals and groups to increase effectiveness and performance while minimizing conflict. Her passion for leadership led her to participate in the Center for Creative Leadership’s Leadership Development Program and Leadership Greensboro. In addition, she has served in a number of leadership roles throughout her career including Board Chair of the Women’s Resource Center of Greater Greensboro and Co-Chair of the Public Art Commission.

Liz believes in the importance of strong leadership for personal and professional excellence. Currently, Liz is a member of ASTD and the Guilford Nonprofit Consortium. Most recently, Liz has served as a featured speaker with the Professional Wedding Guild (Clemmons and Raleigh), Rotary, and the Women’s Professional Forum in Greensboro.

Our regular Weekly meetings are scheduled on Fridays and are structured as follows:

7:45 – 8:00 Networking
8:00 – 8:10 President Opens Meeting
8:10 – 8:30 Guest Speaker or Developmental Activity
8:30 – 8:45 Member and Visitor 30-Second Commercials
8:45 – 9:00 Networking
9:00 – Meeting Ends

Please bring your business cards to the meeting each week to refill our PWN Business Card Binder. This is placed on our Media Table for Members and Guests.
