Background: Meryl Mullane, APR, Mullane Public Relations

Meryl Mullane, APR, agency principal of Mullane Public Relations and Marketing, has been active in promoting downtown Greensboro for many years.  From serving on the former Downtown Development Council of the Chamber, to Chair of GMA’s Council on Center City, to helping promote the downtown Performing Arts Center, to her role today on the marketing committee of Downtown Greensboro Inc. (DGI), Meryl has been a champion for a lively, vibrant center city.

Before starting Mullane PR, Meryl’s positions included General Advertising Manager of the Greensboro News & Record and Vice President of a North Carolina marketing communications agency.  A New York native who’s lived in Greensboro for more than 35 years, Mullane earned a B.A. in English at Syracuse University and studied marketing at the Bryan School for Business at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG).
