A brief overview of federal and state healthcare laws that impact healthcare products and services for women.

Background:  Sharon J. Kasica, CPCO, CCEP – Healthcare Compliance and Ethics Professional

Sharon is a native of Greensboro, N.C. She is the owner and president of Kasica Healthcare Solutions, LLC.  Sharon has over 20 years of work experience in hospital, pharmaceutical, and home healthcare in a variety of corporate and field based roles.  In addition, Sharon has extensive experience in the government sector in the areas of regulatory compliance and health policy.  She is a AAPC Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO) and a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP).  Sharon is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  She is a member of the Healthcare Compliance Association, the American Academy of Professional Coders, and an Associate Board Member of the Guilford Medical & Dental Managers Association.

Our regular Weekly meetings are scheduled on Fridays and are structured as follows:

7:45 – 8:00 Networking
8:00 – 8:10 President Opens Meeting
8:10 – 8:30 Guest Speaker or Developmental Activity
8:30 – 8:45 Member and Visitor 30-Second Commercials
8:45 – 9:00 Networking
9:00 – Meeting Ends
